Terms and conditions


These Terms and Conditions apply to all sales through Blaou AB at www.blaoublaou.com. By placing an order you enter into an agreement with Blaou AB. Blaou AB have the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, but any changes made after the order was placed will not affect the order. These terms and conditions and all disputes arising in connection with it or the use of the website or any purchase shall be governed by applicable Swedish law.

Trademark 

Blaou is a trademark (category 25) and it may not be used in connection to any product or service that is not a part of Blaou, and in any way that is likely to cause confusion among customers, or in any manner that discredits Blaou.

Price and Payment

Every product is shown including tax. In the shopping cart you can see the total price including all fees, taxes, shipping and method of payment, except custom duties that may apply shipping to your country. It is your responsibility as a customer to pay these extra charges and Blaou AB cannot control or predict them. In the case you refuse to receive the order because of the unexpected additional fees, Blaou AB reserves the right to charge you both depart and return shipment cost as well as the additional fees generated by the customs.

Blaou AB does not take any liability in any form for mistakes, omissions or errors given by the customer. The order will not be valid if Blaou AB cannot confirm the billing and shipping address (es) that you provide. 

We only sell items that we have in stock and Blaou AB will supply the products subject to their availability. Garments may sell out during the shopping season and we cannot guarantee item availability online.

Blaou AB accepts payment through Visa, Mastercard and Klarna. All our payments are handled by Klarna for security and comfort.  

Delivery

The delivery time is stated in the shopping cart next to the various ways of delivery. At Blaou AB it is our aim to ensure that you receive your order as soon as possible. Packages are not transported on weekends and local public holidays. Please note that during periods of promotional campaigns, releases, bank holidays, inventory management and sale period our delivery times may be longer than usual. Delivery times given by Blaou AB will always be informative and guidelines, not being binding for Blaou AB. 

Blaou AB will not be liable for the acts of the courier companies that it uses for making the delivery of its products at any time. 

Unclaimed packages

Unclaimed packages will be returned to us. For all unclaimed packages you will be debited all fees in connection with the return delivery.

Returning products

Returning a product is to be done on your expense, unless the product is faulty or damaged upon delivery. In case of an exchange, Blaou AB will pay for the delivery of the replacement product. When you return the product to us, use the consignment note you received in your parcel from Blaou AB. 

Return Policy

Blaou AB return period is 14 days.

Blaou AB shall, if under the jurisdiction of our return policy, refund you what you have paid for the product as soon as possible, but latest within 30 days of the product being returned or you informing us of wanting to return the product. You are obliged to pay for the return delivery of the product. Blaou AB will pay to send replacement products.

In your message to us you must clearly state the reason of returning the product by using the return note. The return period is counted from the day you received your order. 

You do not qualify for our return policy if the product clearly has been used, washed or is not in original condition or damaged (if not caused during delivery) or product tags are missing.

When returning a product you are obliged to keep the product in the same condition as when delivered. You must not have used the product, however you have the right to investigate the condition the product was in when delivered. If damage or harm is caused to a product while investigated the product does not qualify for the return policy. Blaou AB will not accept returns of underwear and swimwear.

Cancellation

If a product is faulty when you receive your order it can be returned against a valid receipt and/or order confirmation. Blaou AB will offer to repair faulty items if possible or replace with the same product. If the same product is not available you will be offered a full refund including cost of shipping and return.

Blaou AB follows the Consumer Purchasing Act (Konsumentköpslagen) at www.konsumentverket.se .

Force Majeure

Blaou AB is not liable for any non-performance caused by circumstances beyond our control, which directly or indirectly prevents, obstructs or renders production, delivery or freight uneconomical until such obstacle has been removed (force majeure). Such circumstances shall be deemed to include difficulties to procure raw materials as well as other difficulties and disturbances, including but not limited to war, riot, labour conflicts, fire, flood, storm, accident, fuel or power shortages, transportation shortages, obstacles or interruptions regarding transportation at sea and breakdowns or interruptions of any kind as regards to our equipment or facilities, which are deemed necessary for the performance of our agreements' obligations.

Privacy policy

How are we dealing with your personal information?
Every time you shop from, or interact with Blaou, we handle some personal information from you - name, address, e-mail etcetera. This privacy policy tells you what we do with this information, and what we don’t do.

In short 
We collect as little personal data as possible from you. In order to communicate, we need your e-mail, Instagram alias, or similar means of contact. But we only reach out to you to answer your questions, or per e-mail if you’ve signed up to our newsletter, or by social media if you’ve chosen to follow us there. 
When you place an order at blaoublaou.com, we need information to process your payment and to deliver your order to your chosen place of delivery. We save this information for as long as Swedish law tells us to, so that we can have our bookkeeping in order, but we do not use that information for any other purpose than these.

What third-party platforms do we use?
Blaou has a very limited on-site handling of data, including your personal information. But we do use some third-party services to help us out with various tasks:
Quickbutik
Quickbutik is our webshop platform. Our whole webpage, including your order, is stored at Quickbutik’s servers. Whenever you place an order at blaoublaou.com, it is handled by Quickbutik. Quickbutik does not, however, in any way investigate or use your personal information, other than in the unlikely event of some technical mishap. In that case, technicians from Quickbutik will be called upon to help us sort out the problem.
Quickbutik does not store any payment information (credit card number etc), that is handled by the company behind your chosen payment method.
Klarna, Paypal and Swish
You can choose between several different payment methods when shopping at blaoublaou.com. If you have any questions regarding how the different operators handle and store your personal information, please contact the operator in question.
Accounting software
We use Fortnox online services for our bookkeeping. We do not save any information in Fortnox that we are not required by law to save for our books. 
Google Analytics
Yes, we use Google Analytics. We do not, however, save more than the bare minimum of data needed to track where our customers are from (country), when they’ve shopped, and how much they’ve shopped for. We have asked Google to save as little as possible.

Marketing in general
We do not use your personal information for marketing purposes, except for our newsletter in case you’ve signed up for it. We do not sell your information, or trade it, or give it away, to anyone. 

Mail to customer service
We delete all mail correspondence relating to customer service at the most 2 months after the question at hand has been dealt with.

Our newsletter
We do not add anyone to our newsletter who has not signed up for it. If you want to stop receiving e-mails from Blaou, you will find a link in the bottom of each e-mail which helps you do so easily. 

Your rights to your data
If you want to get a list of all the personal information we have about you, edit something (for example your address, if you’ve moved since placing your order), or delete something, get in touch at hello@blaoublaou.com. We will help you with whatever you wish, as long as it is legal for us to do so (i.e., we need to save some stuff for our bookkeeping), and as long as we do not have any ongoing transactions together (i.e., you have ordered something, but it hasn’t been delivered to you yet).

We use cookies, in order for you to be able to save goods in your shopping basket from one visit to the next. We also use cookies provided by Google Analytics - read more about Google Analytics under that heading.
